I knew Andy very well from work as our careers criss-crossed several times, and we always seemed to be able to help each other at different stages in our work lives. Andy was one of the kindest, most honest people I met in over 30 years of work. He always understood and respected the human side of his job, which some incorrectly see as just numbers.

It was wonderful that he found a second life within the Methodist Church, and I know his faith helped guide him through his horrible illness.

He  is genuinely one of life's good guys, and it was a pleasure to have known him for so long. May he rest in peace; a kind and generous friend.
